Welcome to Nate's Village

We made this site to keep all of us who love Nate up to date on his condition. There are so many people who care so deeply about him, and he's said he's humbled by the outpouring of support. We appreciate all of you, but it is difficult to keep everyone informed about his progress at all times. This site aims to be a solution to that problem. Hopefully this becomes a way for us all to stay connected in these trying times.

We'll be posting regular updates on his treatment, his condition, and his life in general. Check "Nate's Story" for how we got here, and "Updates" for everything that has happened since then.

If you feel so inclined, you can donate to his GoFundMe here.

Thank you all for loving our dad almost as much as we love him.

-Jazz and MacKenzie

Sharon and I always referred to it as the daily divot; scraps, cuts, casts, antibiotics, emergency
rooms. This was different, this affected my ability to communicate. It is improving since surgery,
but still difficult and frustrating. So MacKenzie and Jazmine stepped in and put this together for
me.

It is very humbling the amount of support I have received and I’m very sorry for anybody I
haven’t been able to contact. I work daily trying to improve my memory so that I'm able to
overcome this problem. I haven't forgotten anything, I just can't recall it.

Please post whatever you would like here, I would love to see it. I believe it will also help me
recover from some of these problems. I also would love it if people would share it anywhere
they felt like it. I’ve been told there are people in a similar situation, but all alone. Maybe we can
help them too.

Lastly, this is not the end. This is just a new situation. I have no intention of doing anything but
what I’ve done, getting up and getting to work.

  1. Very nice girls….. Thank you ❣️
I told MacKenzie at one point, “In all the time I’ve known Nate, since the day he was born, whenever he falls in shit he always, always, always comes up smelling like roses.” 🏵
He is in our hearts and our prayers as are you all.
Love you to Uranus and back…. (It’s farther away and more fun to say) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  2. Nate--I am so sorry to learn that you are going through this. I know it's been forever since we were classmates at Saint Andrew's, but the most poignant memory I have of you is your positive attitude. I am confident that you will fight this and do everything in your power to regain your health. Please know that I am thinking about you and rooting for you. And know that there are hundreds (thousands?) of other people you have known throughout the years who are doing the same thing. We are all on TEAM NATE! Be strong, my friend.

    Best Regards,
    Phil Nadel
